During our south of France vacation we decided to drive to St-Tropez for a day and enjoyed a lovely breakfast at Dior des Lices. Definitely a splurge, but hey, it’s okay once in a while! You can enjoy a Dior latte and other delicacies in Dior’s beautiful gardens ideally situated near the Place des Lices in downtown St Tropez. Très, très chic!
The enchanting garden was designed by Peter Wirtz and wonderfully embodies the brand, from the vegetation to all the materials used and, of course, the furniture. The building was once the Tourism Embassy for Saint Tropez ans has been completely refurbished by architect Peter Marino, who specializes in luxury designer retail spaces and residencies all over the world.
People that know me know how much I appreciate beautiful table settings and design. Well, let’s just say I was in heaven at Dior! Of course, all of the ceramics were from the house brand, and all of the furniture is custom-built by Sérénité Luxury Monaco. Everything was intentional, and it all worked together beautifully in unison.
How pretty are these colors? I just love how the dark blue contrasts with the surrounding greenery as well as the little coral tones throughout on some seating pieces. Everything is beautifully mixed, including some classic french designs along with some very artsy furniture. I thought the classic nude of the plates was a nice nod to the building facade and, of course, a connection to the classic pattern of the Lady Dior handbag.
After a nice stroll in the streets of the village, we enjoyed a nice lunch and afternoon on the beach, a really nice day in St-Tropez!
